Aguacatenango is famous for hand-embroidered floral and geometric patterns that adorn gorgeous blouses and dresses.  The artists we work with create meticulous and unique pieces that far exceed what is normally seen in street markets from this village.  With heavily detailed designs and carefully braided threads along the neckline, with abundant fabric for the pleated body, these pieces are lovely and collectible.  This piece has been embroidered on the front and back, as shown in the photos.
