OCTOBER 29, 2024

This morning we enjoyed a fun workshop at the home of award winning artist Sergio Velazquez, who had prepared copper bracelets for each of our guests.  They got to file, hammer, pound and polish them in an authentic workshop using traditional tools.  From there we explored the plaza of Santa Clara del Cobre to see the preparations, then we were off to Quiroga for Molcajetes!  We stopped briefly in Santa Fe de la Laguna to visit the home of the real woman being Disney's Mama Coco, and last but not least, the illustrious estate of Maestro Juan Torres and the Catrina art festival in Capula.
