CERAMICS GALLERY IN PATAMBAN, MICHOACAN

This lovely gallery in Patamban features unusual dishes that have an obvious influence from the ceramics that arrived in Mexico from Asia. With rectangular and square shapes, many of the dishes found here are perfect for your next sushi get-together!  They also sell flower pots, large bowls, drinking carafes and much more.  What makes these particularly desirable is that they are fired in high-temperature kilns, so they are quite durable.  They can go in the dishwasher, but we still recommend washing by hand.

These photos show the workshop area where the artists work and a few pieces from around the studio.  We will attempt to get some photos of their pieces on our next trip through, as we lost many of our photos from an old laptop...
