Agave farmers in Mexico continue to harvest on the full moon to render the most juice from their beloved agave plants, and we have the chance to witness and even participate in the July harvest in Charo...

Omar has been the proud owner of Mezcaleria San Miguel and a proprietor of his El Generalisimo brand for many years. He is please to invite you to visit the plantation in Charo, where his agaves are grown, harvested and processed. Guests will have the opportunity to work in the fields alongside experienced farmers, and to witness the process. We will enjoy a tour of the working facility and enjoy an elegant picnic in the field, including a mezcal tasting, of course...
This trip starts and ends in Patzcuaro and Morelia...
Our bus will depart from Patzcuaro, making a short stop at Xangari Morelia to pick up guests there. On the way back, we will stop at Xangari to drop off our Morelia guests, with our final conclusion in Patzcuaro....
